Mrs. Papa Jo
Please continue to pray for Mrs. Papa Jo. She continues to be confronted with the Gospel on a weekly basis now. About two weeks ago, she told the story of seeing a great light in their house. She could not explain it. But it has got her thinking and questioning her life and beliefs. Papa Jo also saw this light one day while he was working in his coffee field. He too did not know how to explain it. We are praying that these signs and visions she is having will increase. We are praying that God will open her heart to His truths and that she will join her husband in following Jesus. And that together they might be the light of Christ in their community.
Mosque leader
Please pray for a Mosque leader, that is from the Rujohn people. He heard a clear Gospel presentation last week. He did not debate the claims of Jesus. He listened and even was interested in the issue of sin, and convinced that yes, God must have a plan for the problem of man and sin. He was told that the plan is through Jesus Christ. Please pray that God will continue to pound these truths in his heart and soul. Please pray with us for his salvation.
Rujohn people
Please pray for one of our unreached people group's - the Rujohn. Some men were able to present the Gospel to about 12 Rujohn men last week. Praise the Lord. This is an exciting thing. Some of these villages are very hard to get to because of poor roads, especially during rainy season. Please pray for the Lord to draw out these that have heard the Gospel that some might be saved. We continue to pray and ask God for believers from this people and eventually an established church among them. Please pray for this as well.
Ev outreach in Seem area
Please pray for an evangelistic outreach in the Seem area. It will go from Sunday to Friday. Please pray for this time that God will use this outreach to draw many Seem people to Himself. Join us in boldly going to the Father in faith that He will save several and many souls next week.
May God get the glory. The PB team continues to push the edges of darkness further back by going into these hard to reach areas to see the Gospel proclaimed and give all an opportunity for our PB people to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Urgent PR - April 21, 2012
Please pray for national partner J as he travels inland several hours today to disciple a new believer (Papa Jo), and continue to share the Gospel with those in Papa Jo's village. Papa Jo's wife was shared with extensively two weeks ago. Her response was to say "I am confused. I am so confused and do not know what to do."
Please pray for Mrs. Jo today and tomorrow. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to open her heart and for God to draw her into His Kingdom.
Pray for the specific time in the Word. Pray for J and Papa Jo and the other new believer that J is discipling this weekend. Please pray that God will grow them in their faith and knowledge and understanding of the Word thus better knowing, believing, and following God.
May God do great and mighty things in this village. Greater things than we can even ask, hope, or imagine Him doing. And may God receive ALL glory and honor for it.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Please take some time now to pray for the following people:
Ace
Ace works at the airport and has been shared with a few times already. Earlier today, after sharing of his recent sickness with dengue fever and how he was very sick, he was challenged to not take time that God has given him for granted. He was challenged to believe upon Jesus the Christ and be saved. Please pray for Ace that the Lord will prick his heart with the seeds that have been planted in his heart, and that the Lord will save him.
Follow-up
Please pray for wisdom and diligence in following up people who have expressed interest to be discipled. This includes two groups of people. New believers who long to grow in Christ, and for those who have believed for sometime and desire to be discipled in areas of personal evangelism and in the Word.
Rez
A college student that has heard OT stories, sacrifice stories, and Gospel truths. Pray that the Holy Spirit will give him a desire to know more. Please pray that God will open his eyes, heart, and soul to God, thus making him a new creation.
Three college gals
Recently three Muslim college girls have been attending an English club where a friend shared Old Testament stories with them. Not only were they interested, but also asked for more stories. Please pray as R meets with these gals and shares sacrifice stories with them leading to the Best Sacrifice of All, Jesus Christ. Pray for their salvation.
Dreams and visions
You may have heard somewhere that sometimes Muslims will come to faith in Jesus by God sending them dreams and visions. Well its true and it happens all over the world. Please commit to pray weekly that God will give PB peoples dreams and visions, preparing their hearts for Jesus Christ, calling them to believe in Him. Join us in pleading with our Sovereign God for the salvation of the PB peoples, for His great glory to spread to the ends of the earth.

Dear friends, please pray for the following requests:
Death
Among the farm community aspect of our PB team, we have seen death and birth of life, in these last few weeks. A dear family, that works on the farm, had a motorcycle accident and almost immediately the wife died while the husband was in critical condition for days. He stills suffers from head trauma. Although just a few days ago, returned to their home on the farm.
The teenager, that ran into this family with his motorcycle, is from a Muslim family. The teenager's family has come repeatedly to our farm worker's family asking for forgiveness. The farm worker's family each time has responded by love and forgiveness. It has been said that the Muslim family worries about what the Christian farm worker's family will do. The Christian farm worker's family has not asked for money, not sued, not involved legal courts, not asked for the young man who ran over the Christian family, to be taken to jail. Nothing. Instead, the Christian family has responded in love. They have been a godly testimony to this Muslim family, about forgiveness and love. A testimony that the Muslim community, including this one family, has yet to understand.
Please pray for the farm worker as he adjusts to life without his soul mate. Please pray for his complete healing. Praise the Lord that this testimony has gone forth that "as God has forgiven us, so we can forgive others." Please pray that some from the Christian farm worker's family will share the Truth that can set us free, Jesus Christ, with this Muslim family and community.
Life
Praise God with us for a number of babies born in our Christian community within the last few weeks. Many of the babies were born with breathing problems and difficulties but are now healthy and home with their families.
During the month of May
there will be a training for "sent out ones." Sent out ones are national (possibly and hopefully local) believers in Christ that want to go throughout these parts of the country and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (see Matt 28:18-20). This is a new part of the PB team strategy. Please pray for guidance from God as the leaders seek to glorify God by raising up men and women to go into the harvest. For this first training, there are but a handful of followers of Jesus that want to be discipled and trained. Please pray that God would burden more and more believers hearts to go into the harvest.
"And he said to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'" Luke 10:2
Bible Study Groups
In PB land, there are several bible study groups who gather consistently. Please pray that these groups would hold the Bible as absolute authority, be obedient to the Scripture, and live for God's glory. And through this obedience, please pray that these groups will actively be sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with their family members, friends, and acquaintances.... till all in PB land have had an opportunity to clearly hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

PR - March 2, 2012
Wow February came and went in the blink of an eye!
Dear prayer supports,
I wanted to update on you on the situation here in PB land. After a hectic and trying month of January and into February, for the past several weeks, thinks are "seemingly" calm. I am always a little hesitant to say that because we know the spiritual battles in this world (see Ephesians 6:12) are not against flesh and blood but against the evil one. And those battles, often times, are unseen. What we did see a lot of in the month of January, was a lot of trials and tribulations. Grace was given, as was strength, from the Father. National partners stood firm, and we believe because of these trials and tribulations that the faith of many has been strengthened, and God has been glorified! Not to mention that Name of Jesus and His Gospel have continued to go forth with great boldness.
That being said, I wanted to ask for prayer for a few more prayer requests:
* Please pray for a training being held this next week for some national partners and their coworkers. Please pray that God will enlarge their faith in Him, that His heart for the nations would be their heart, and that He will give guidance in how He might use them to reach those who have still yet to hear in our area.
* Please pray for a coworker as she leads a Bible Study and presents the Gospel with two girls who are open to the gospel. Pray that she will speak with clarity and the Holy Spirit will fill her and speak through her. Please pray that God will open the hearts of two girls to Him, and that they would become followers of Christ. One of the girls, Ir, is about to graduate from college. She is a very smart girl, who wants to make a difference in the world from a moralistic viewpoint. Please pray that God would draw her into His Kingdom and give her a heart to make a difference for HIS glory in planting seeds of Truth and caring for the souls she will encounter.
* Please continue to pray and ask God to raise up more and more national partners. We are so encouraged and blessed with the handful we work amongst. But they need help. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to raise up more nationals who want to follow Him, whatever that means and wherever God may lead them. There are still SO MANY who have yet to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel even one time. Ask the Lord to raise up more nationals to go to their neighbors and the next people group over, and then the next and so on... until all people groups through these areas will have a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Update
Dear prayer partners,
I wanted to send you a brief update on a situation here on PB land ground zero.
Recently I have shared about how "intentional" our brothers and sisters in Christ have been in sharing their faith about Jesus Christ with those around them. We even shared the joyful news of all the new brothers and sisters in Christ that we have from this past year.
One thing we should be sure of: God will receive ALL glory and honor from this. And the other thing to be sure of: Satan ABSOLUTELY hates that God is being made known throughout the world and that God is receiving EVEN MORE glory and honor. Praise the Lord, right?
So I am writing to you tonight asking you to pray because there is a battle going on here. Three of our main Gospel sharers are being questioned by police, written about in newspapers, and their lives being questioned and threatened. Even today, all three men were questioned and ridiculed for their belief in Jesus Christ.
This SHOULD be no surprise to us. I mean this is told to us by Jesus in Luke 21:10-19. The truth is there. The example already presented. The guideline already presented for us to follow. Bear with me as I write it for you from the ESV (English Standard Version).
10 Then he said to them, "Nation will rise again nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. 12 But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors form my name's sake. 13 This will be your opportunity to bear witness. 14 Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. 16 You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. 17 You will be hated by all for my name's sake. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 By you endurance you will gain your lives."
And again in John 15:18
"If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you."
I am asking you to pray for these three men right now: B-, J-, and S-
(B- as he continues to be bullied by police and J- and S- as a recent newspaper printed an article of their name and location and that they were forcing people to be followers of Christ - which possibly could be NOT received well from the surrounding Muslim community.)
- Praise the Lord with us for their faith in an AMAZING God during these difficult situations. Pray that it would continue to GROW.
- Pray that in the face of persecution, the Gospel of Jesus CHRIST will SPREAD like FIRE through this PB land.
-Pray that they will respond as is the example in Luke 21:14-15 above.
- Pray for their families, as these trials can and does bring stress to their families
Also, in this newspaper article, it detailed names and locations of Muslims who have came to faith in Jesus Christ in the last few years. Some of these new followers live in strict Muslim communities where very few people know of their faith in Jesus Christ. This has thrown them right into the news.
-Please pray for these believers as some of them seem to be still very young in their faith in Jesus Christ. Pray that God will use this time to grow their faith in Jesus Christ significantly.
Our farm was headlined as well. We will wait to see what type of backlash (if any) there will be from this article.

Limbox Religious Leader
This past week we heard the story of a religious leader who was teaching in the mosque. He had recently studied the Gospel and the life of Jesus. He was excited about it and told the attendees that they too should study the life of Jesus. In the meantime, as he was teaching these things, another religious leader was in attendance listening to this Islamic leader talk about Jesus. The second leader, the one listening to the teachings about Jesus, was less excited to hear about this first religious leaders new excitement about the life of Jesus. The teacher was threatened and told to stop studying about the life of Jesus. PRAY that God would continue to give this teacher great desires to learn about Jesus. Pray that God will save him and use him to boldly share the Gospel with those in the mosque.
Mrs. Siree
This is a woman who has been a friend of a PB member for several years. Yet sometimes they meet up in town and sometimes don't. Only recently, the two women met again in town to find out that they are practically neighbors. Mrs. Siree is a Muslim. God has given PB team member a burden and desire to share with Mrs. Siree. Please pray for this sharing time. Please pray that God will prepare Mrs. Siree and open her heart to His Gospel.
Bible School students
Please pray for 19 Bible School students that are studying what God's heart for the nations looks like and how they can be involved in sharing the Gospel. These Bible students live right here in the heart of PB land. Pray for them as they study God's Word and as they share the Gospel with those PB peoples they encounter. Pray for the Bible teacher that God will speak through him, guide him, and use him to challenge and shape these 19 students.
Mrs. Are
Please pray for Mrs. Are. She is a humble, hard working woman that the Lord has grown so much over the past two years. Please pray for Mrs. Are as she is being discipled. Please pray for her as she is ACTIVELY sharing her faith in Jesus Christ with MANY people that she meets.
and lastly I wanted to just share a praise with you...
Praise the Lord, along with your brothers and sisters on the PB team, that we have 45 new believers in our PB land due to God's hand at work using our national brothers and sisters here in PB land. Praise God that He is bringing salvation to PB peoples. Please pray that He would open the flood gates and the hundreds and thousands and millions of our PB peoples will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and no longer be slaves to Satan and blinded by his evil ways.

Please pray for 19 Bible School students that are studying what God's heart for the nations looks like and how they can be involved in sharing the Gospel. These Bible students live right here in the heart of PB land. Pray for them as they study God's Word and as they share the Gospel with those PB peoples they encounter. Pray for the Bible teacher that God will speak through him, guide him, and use him to challenge and shape these 19 students.

Please pray for Mrs. Are. She is a humble, hard working woman that the Lord has grown so much over the past two years. Please pray for Mrs. Are as she is being discipled. Please pray for her as she is ACTIVELY sharing her faith in Jesus Christ with MANY people that she meets.
and lastly I wanted to just share a praise with you...
Praise the Lord, along with your brothers and sisters on the PB team, that we have 45 new believers in our PB land due to God's hand at work using our national brothers and sisters here in PB land. Praise God that He is bringing salvation to PB peoples. Please pray that He would open the flood gates and the hundreds and thousands and millions of our PB peoples will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and no longer be slaves to Satan and blinded by his evil ways.

PR - January 15, 2012
Dear brothers and sisters,
I just want to take a moment and share a brief look back at the past few years. In the last two years, the PB international and national team has gone from sporadically sharing, loose accountability, a vision that looked good on paper but actively held and lived out - not so much, and etc etc to now January 2012, I think a good word to describe our present day situation is intentionality. Intentional sharing, intentional discipleship, intentional accountability, and the same vision BUT being lived out. There are new team players, new followers of Jesus, existing churches and followers of Christ being disicpled and challenged, and much excitement. Are we "there" yet? Obviously not, for the PB peoples are not yet reached. Are we "getting there"? Only God knows. Are we trying to be obedient to Scriptures and make Him known among PB peoples? YES!
Why do I share these things with you? YOU are our rope holders, our prayer supporters, and encouragement. We want and need YOU to continue pleading before our Great God for the salvation of the PB peoples. If you are checking this blog, and praying with us for the PB peoples then YOU are a part of the PB team. I want you to know the reality and growth of things on the ground here. It has been a growing process, still in that growing process, and we are excited at what God is doing with the PB team and peoples in this process.
So keep praying! Keep believing God's promises! Keep knocking on His door on behalf of the salvation of the PB peoples. Be as the persistent woman seeking help from the ruthless judge (Luke 18:1-8)... knocking on the door relentlessly.... pleading for the salvation of the PB peoples.
"8 For by grace you have saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Praying with you that this "gift of God" comes to the PB people, and that God receives ALL glory and honor.
