Update on Ra
Please continue to pray for Ra, a new believer. He and another friend, Jo, are new followers of Jesus. They have not yet taken the next step... baptism. Baptism is a huge issue to Muslims. Sometimes when it gets to the Baptism issue, those interested in following Christ, really begin to rethink their decisions. Pray for Ra and Jo as Mr. Good continues to disciple them and that they would want to be baptized, in keeping Christ's commands (Matthew 28).
Mr. Ak
One of the ministries from the PB team is helping provide clean water. Mr. Ak has received a water filter to help provide him with clean water. Pray for God to open Mr. Ak's heart to the Gospel. Pray for those that share the Gospel with Mr. Ak that they would lovingly, boldly share about the Living Water.
Down south...
I have mentioned that Mr. Good is focusing on sharing the Gospel several hours south of the city. Mr. Good has a partner that works with him, Mr. Or. Please pray for Or that he would have the desire and boldness to share the Gospel with the PB peoples down south, and that he would not be dependent upon Mr. Good. Please continue to pray for these two men, as they share the Gospel in areas and with PB peoples whom have never heard of Jesus Christ before.
Young lady A-
Praise the Lord that several PB workers had good opportunities to share the Gospel with those around them during Christmas time. One such person is Young Lady A. She was shared with in great detail about Jesus the Messiah. She has several friends from many different religious backgrounds. Lady A is trying to decide which is right for her to follow. Please pray that Jesus will mightily reveal Himself to her and that she would see that He alone is the Truth, the Life, and the Way (John 14). Please pray that the truths she has heard would take root in her life and that God would create within her a new heart.
Local church responsibility
Please pray for the local churches here in our city. Please pray for them as the PB team continues to encourage and challenge them to own the vision of sharing the Gospel with anyone and everyone and a church in each village. Please pray for their shepherds/pastors that may or may not have a heart for evangelism and church planting. We as a PB team, national and foreign alike, have a great desire to see the local traditional church rise up and share the Gospel and plant churches among the PB peoples.
Psalm 65:4-5 "Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple! By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas..."

IT"S ALIVE!!!! A hope for more frequent prayer updates... PR 12/3/2011
Dear friends,
Well hopefully we are back to a more stable and frequent Internet, and with that hopefully more frequent updates. I wonder how many of you keep looking to see only August as the last update. Forgive me friend, for the PB peoples are still very much on our hearts and in our prayers, as I pray they have been in yours.
A praise...
I wanted to share with you just how thankful we are of what God is doing in the hearts of some believers here. Both of foreign and national origin. God is emboldening his workers to share His Word throughout the PB province. Praise the Lord. With this comes an increase of those hearing the good news. Some for the very first time EVER. Please continue to pray that we PB workers will continue to take EVERY opportunity to gladly, joyfully, thankfully share of our wonderful Savior who has forever changed our hearts as HE can do in the PB peoples here.
Papa Jo
is a man that lives in an area of Ruhjang people. He himself is not Ruhjang but he has been sharing, in his community, about Christ. He is respected in his community. He, a few weeks ago, stated that there are other new believers around him, and that it is time to clearly share their belief in Christ with others as well as for their new group of believers to become solidified. Please pray that Papa Jo will continue to share with others the Awesome News of Jesus Christ. Please pray that this group of believers will move from a Bible Study to having the Biblical Requirements of a church. Please pray that these believers will have a great impact on the neighboring Ruhjang community.
Mr. Good
continues to share Truth down south of us. Please continue to pray for him. A few weeks ago, a few young people had several questions about the Gospel. The young man and woman were actually seeking Mr Good out, wanting to know further about the Gospel. A day or so later, the young people brought another friend. They began to argue and debate Mr. Good about the Truth. They then called in a local Islamic leader. Mr. Good continues to minister down south, despite the challenges he is beginning to face there.
Ra-
is a new believer down south where Mr. Good is ministering. Ra had a very rough background before recently coming to new belief in Christ. Since his profession of faith in Christ, he has a total life change. Praise the Lord. Please pray for Ra. Pray that he will be discipled well. Please pray that he will learn and follow God's heart for the nations, and he too will share this Good News with all those around him.
From the English club
a number of our students have heard clear presentations of the Gospel over the last several months. Some are counting the costs of becoming a follower in Christ. While we KNOW that the benefits outweigh the persecution and challenges a life devoted to Christ may bring, please pray for them that it would no longer be an issue of weighing it out, but that it would be an all or nothing situation, where God would open their hearts to him, capture their hearts, and they would bow before the Father and follow Jesus all the days of their life.
Yu-
praise God with us for a new sister in Christ, Yu. She has in the last few weeks believed in Christ, committed to follow Him, and she was baptized about a week ago. Praise the Lord. Please pray for her as she is discipled, that she will grow and bear much fruit. Please pray that through this discipleship God will give her and grow in her a heart for the nations, that she too would share this Good News with her family, community, island, and nation.
May all glory and praise be to God. Will you take a few minutes right now to go before our God and pray for the above requests?
